So here's the scoop.....the only way I'm going to lose weight and get in shape is if I have to compete with my sister to do it. I actually read the other day that people are generally more successful at losing weight if they stand to lose something, i.e. money, creditability, etc. I could really care less about creditability and I don't have a lot of money to lose, but I HATE losing to my sister....so this concept really makes sense to me.
At any rate, today was a good day. Had a good workout with my friend Beezy this morning which resulted in both of us looking like we had just sat in a sweat lodge or sauna for about 6 hours. I'm sure either of those activities would have been more relaxing....but not result in better fitness, such is life. I also ate pretty well. That's not to say I ate a lot of fruits and vegetables, but at least I didn't eat any sweets. Tomorrow we lift legs and maybe I'll try to find something healthy to bake...like bran muffins....or cardboard on a stick.... :)
